The Centurion Cyclery team are here to see to your every cycling and servicing need
Two months in the making Centurion will finally be able to boast with a concept store for leading international bicycle brand Specialized. This exciting project in the making has been underway for some months, potentially changing the way the cycling community and enthusiasts in Centurion/Midrand see the world of cycling.
The father and son combination of Andre and Andy Terlouw, saw the need for a focused retail outlet that aspires towards excellence in customer service. Given their past experience in the retail sector, and having previously been an owner of a cycle store called Auto Xtra cycles, Terlouw saw an opportunity when an existing cycle store was about to close its doors. Terlouw and his father decided to buy the existing assets and pursue their goal to own a bicycle store once more, but this time with a difference. Lynnwood Cyclery was launched in late 2012 in the Eastern Suburbs of Pretoria.
We focus on service excellence – in both the workshop and sales department. According to Terlouw, this is the store’s x-factor – personal and friendly service. The recipe for success includes a state of the art workshop, a dynamic staff team, an ideal location and facility together with the close association with the world's leading bike brand Specialized.
Even though the Centurion store has been trading since the mid-April 2015, the official opening will be celebrated in the near future.
Gert Janse Van Rensburg is the Centurion Store Manager supported by Graham Terlouw. Andre and Andy will also be actively involved to ensure the store giving the personal touch for which Lynnwood Cyclery has become known.
